Attorney Shane M. Smith helps people and small businesses who have been injured physically or financially by wrongdoers, insurance companies, corporations, and banks. Shane was inducted into the “Million Dollar Advocates Forum” at the age of thirty-three–less than one percent (1%) of lawyers nationwide are members.

The practice of law is changing. The electronic age is upon us and the firm embraces this. The attorneys at Shane M. Smith, P.A. are all “children of the electronic age” and using technology in the practice of law is second nature to them. Effective use of technology makes the practice of law more efficient. The firm is always evaluating how to use technology to improve firm operations. This approach allows the firm to do more for clients in less time and this creates value for clients.

Smith grew up in Northwest Iowa working on the family farm and working construction with his father. He attended college and law school at the University of South Dakota. After law school, he went on to earn a post-doctoral law degree in tax at the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law, home to one of the nation’s preeminent tax law programs.

Smith formed the law firm Shane M. Smith, P.A. after working at other litigation firms, including an insurance defense firm. Shane M. Smith, P.A. was formed with the objective of giving consumers and small businesses easier access to the justice system through building a customer-service-oriented law firm.
